The Broken Arrow City Council will discuss and possibly take action on an ordinance and resolution regarding masks in a special meeting on Tuesday night. Comments from the community will also be heard at the meeting. Per the meeting agenda, the city attorney will present an ordinance declaring an emergency, because of COVID-19, and mandating the use of masks with some exceptions. A resolution will also be presented on measures to reduce transmission of the virus and give more support to business

President Donald Trump's last full day in office is Tuesday, and he is expected to pardon up to 100 sentences before his send-off. However, there's no word if he plans to pardon himself ahead of his second upcoming impeachment trial. A 14-year-old is in custody on Tuesday morning after he led Oklahoma Highway Patrol officers on an overnight chase with another teenager in the vehicle. According to the OHP, officers tried to pull over a Nissan Sentra near East 11th Street and South Memorial Drive. Officers said that the car took off through a neighborhood, down 73rd East Avenue, ran a red light at 15th St, and then hit a curb.

Volunteers Spend Day Sprucing Up Tulsa Junior High School

Volunteers spent their day sprucing up a Tulsa school Monday, as part of a larger effort to help kids succeed in school and graduate. It was part of the Day of Service in honor of Martin Luther King Junior.
