Police: 1 Dead After Stabbing At Tulsa Apartment Complex

Tulsa Police say one man is dead and another in custody after an overnight stabbing.

According to police, Charles Ingram got into an argument with another man just before midnight Thursday inside a unit at the Ivy Place Apartment near I-244 and Garnett. 

Investigators say Ingram told them Harper hit him in the face, so Ingram pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim. Police say the victim, ran away but was later found at the complex and taken to a hospital where he died.

Officers said Ingram walked up to firefighters and told them what he did. Tulsa Police recovered the knife used and said the victim also had some injuries to his eye and arm.

Ingram has been booked into the Tulsa County Jail on a complaint of first degree-manslaughter.
