OKCPS Announces New Plan For Retrieving Items From Its Schools

Oklahoma City Public Schools announced that it has altered its plan for families to retrieve items from its campuses.

OKCPS said local health officials will not allow them to open its school doors for a "come-and-go style pick up" of belongings.

Instead, families are asked to reserve pick up appointments at schools between 1 and 4 p.m. starting Monday, March 23 and ending Wednesday, March 25.

The district said families can make an appointment by "sending an email to your building principal to schedule a day and time for your pick-up" or by calling 405-587-0049.

At this time, families can pick up medications only.
