As Oklahoma faces the COVID-19 outbreak it's also facing financial trouble.
State Treasurer Randy McDaniel expects a $456-million revenue failure this year. State lawmakers are now saying they plan to do whatever it takes to make it up.
"I BELIEVE IN A BI-PARTISAN MANNER THAT WE ARE GOING TO FILL THAT SHORTFALL. SO IF YOU'RE WATCHING NEXT WEEK, WE WILL BE FILLING THE BUDGET SHORTFALL. THERE WON'T BE A CUT IN THE CURRENT BUDGET, DESPITE THE SHORTFALL THAT'S BOTH COVID RELATED AND OIL & GAS RELATED," said majority floor leader Jon Echols.
