OCPD Bomb Squad Dispatched In SE OKC

The Oklahoma City Police Department's Bomb Squad was called to the scene where a suspicious package was found just before 10 p.m. Saturday.

Authorities arrived at the scene of the package near Southeast 89th Street and South Shields Boulevard in southeast Oklahoma City.

Approximately three blocks of South Shields Boulevard northbound has been blocked off as a result.

Police said they do not believe the package is anything of concern, but they are going to collect the package to be safe.
