“We are incredibly humbled and honored for the station to be recognized with the Murrow Award,” said David Griffin, Griffin Communications President and CEO. “Our mission is to keep Oklahomans safe, informed and entertained. Our teams work hard every day to deliver on that mission and truly have a passion for sharing the stories of our viewers and making their voices heard. I’m so proud of the job that they do and that they are being recognized for their hard work and dedication.”

One of the last locally owned stations in the nation, News On 6 is home to a dynamic team. The station is consistently ranked No. 1 in the Nielsen ratings in the Tulsa DMA.
“It is an amazing feeling to be on such a talented team and be able to see them in action every day,” said Chuck Maulden, News On 6 Director of Content. “This award recognizes that talent and desire to strive towards excellence as we keep Oklahoma safe.”
“This was truly a team effort that would not have been possible without our local ownership and employees in each and every department in the station,” said Kristie Webb, News On 6 Executive Producer. “I am so proud of the work we do each and every day.”
