A Skiatook man missing since last fall has been found, according to the Skiatook Police Department. Michael Newman is well and is getting the care he needs, SPD said in a Facebook post.

News On 6 spoke to Newman's father, Terry, who spent months searching for his son. Police became involved in November when the family filed a missing person's report.

Newman is a military veteran who is well-known in the Skiatook area.
