The city of Claremore is launching a utility payment plan for those who continue to face financial hardships during the pandemic.

“We recognize that many of our customers are struggling financially as a result of COVID-19,” said Jim Thomas, Claremore City Manager. “We developed this plan to allow more time for customers to pay past-due balances.”

Those with existing past-due balances must sign up by June 1st in order to avoid disruption of services.

The program allows for outstanding balances accrued to be paid off over 12 months.

Balances of less than $500

  1. Down payment of 10% is required
  2. 12 equal monthly installments will be added to the regular monthly bill

Balances of $500 or more

  1. Down payment of 25% is required
  2. 12 equal monthly installments will be added to the regular monthly bill

The program is open to applications right now. You can find a link to apply for the program HERE
