President Trump’s Saturday rally in Tulsa will be the first for the Butler family.
The family plans to drive an hour-and-a-half from their home in Stilwell on Friday to camp outside the BOK Center.
"Up to the door, if they will let me,” Keli Butler said.
Keli said they will make sure to be prepared with enough food and water.
They're not hoping the President will talk about anything specific, but they want to be there for his first public campaign event since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic in the United States.
Keli said the goal for them is to get as close as they can to the President.
"When the sun goes down, I might get a little nervous, but I'm ready,” Butler said.
The doors at the BOK Center will open at 3 p.m. Saturday. The President is scheduled to speak around 7 p.m.
