Truck Fire Spreads, Damages Former Mechanical Shop In Oakhurst

Investigators are looking into the cause of a fire that destroyed a truck and a former mechanical shop in the Oakhurst area overnight.

This happened near 65th West Avenue and Southwest Boulevard just after midnight on Wednesday. The Owner said it started as a truck fire and then spread to a mechanical shop. Berryhill and Sapulpa Fire both responded to help fight heavy flames.

Firefighters said there's heavy damage to the building because of the fire. The mechanical shop is thankfully not currently in use. The truck is a total loss.

Firefighters said the cause is still under investigation
