Police say Taylor Gainey is wanted for first-degree manslaughter and is accused of shooting his brother during a fight, while they were at their parent's house for Father's Day. Homicide detectives say Stillwater police called saying they saw Gainey's car parked a block away from his house. Detectives say they spent nearly 6 hours here at Gainey's house on Monday after Stillwater Police helped them serve the warrant. They say they believe he was here sometime on Monday.

“Stillwater Pd was excellent. They were able to come out here and utilize their swat team and come out here and secure this residence for us which allowed us to search this residence safely. Definitely, we were thankful for their assistance in this matter. They are a very professional department everything we’ve worked with them,” said TPD Detective Jason White.

Documents say Gainey went to Tulsa for Father's Day and while he was at his father's house he got into an argument with his brother. The report goes on to say that his mother told Gainey to leave so he went out to his car. At some point Gainey's brother walked outside with a stick and hit Gainey's car, then Gainey shot his brother in the torso.

The brother was taken to the hospital where he later died. Detectives say they have tried calling Gainey but had no luck. They are in contact with Gainey's family.

Detectives say they will keep looking for Gainey until they find him or he turns himself in. They say he now has an attorney.
