OHP: Crash Results In 1 Death, 2 Transported To Hospital With Injuries

OHP said one person is dead and two others were injured after a crash on Highway 48 near Mannford around 5 p.m.

Troopers said a 9-year-old died at the scene and three other people were injured.

Troopers said as one car was slowing down to turn, another car swerved to avoid, but a pick-up truck was not about to slow down in time and hit the first vehicle.

The driver of the pick-up was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

OHP said the crash is under investigation.
