Town Of Chelsea To Experience Water Outage Tuesday Night

The Chelsea Economic Development Authority announced that the Town of Chelsea and Consolidated Rural Water District #1 (Nowata Co.) will be without water overnight starting at 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Officials released a statement saying,

"This outage is due to many factors, including very high water demand, numerous leaks throughout the district that have been repaired, and the need for overnight routine maintenance to be performed. The Authority apologizes for any inconveniences this may cause and hope to have water to all our customers before 8am. We thank all of you for your patience."
