Tulsa police said a young boy is back home after he was missing overnight.
“We worked well with fire and EMSA. Those guys are great. They worked with our detectives and were able to get a fast response out here. Ultimately, they were able to find him and safely reunite him with his parents," said Sgt. Steve Blaylock.
Police said the 5-year-old boy climbed out a window, but they found him a few blocks away from his home.
It happened around midnight near pine and Denver.
Police were on scene within minutes of a relative calling 911. The relative told them the young boy is autistic and the department called in other resources as well.
They said they set up a grid search with Tulsa Fire and EMSA - and even had the helicopter ready to go.
Officers said a firefighter spotted the boy walking about two blocks from the home.
