19-Year-Old Dead After Crash Near Adair

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported a single-vehicle crash around 10:40 a.m. on I-44, just northeast of Adair in Mayes County.

OHP said the vehicle was a 1998 Toyota Corolla that veered off the highway to the right and rolled once until resting on its wheels. The driver was a 19-year-old man, Mason McCleary, who was pronounced dead by paramedics on the scene due to head injuries. There were no passengers and no other vehicles involved in the collision.

OHP is still investigating the cause of the crash.
