First Lady Melania Trump will make another visit to Oklahoma to see firsthand the Cherokee Nation's Health Center.
Cherokee Nation Principal Chief Chuck Hoskin Junior said the first lady will visit Cherokee Nation to tour the tribe's outpatient health center and medical school, which is still under construction.
Hoskin did not say when the meeting will happen.
Yesterday the first lady talked about her commitment to making sure native children are safe when receiving care.
"Native American children, like all children, deserve to grow up in a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment. Strong Native American communities are strong American communities," Melania Trump said.
This will be the first lady's second visit to Oklahoma.
The last time she was in the state was in March of last year when she visited Dove Academy in Tulsa as part of her "Be Best" campaign.
