Tulsa Police say that three juveniles were arrested Sunday for home invasion and armed robbery.
According to police, the victim was sleeping in her home near 82nd E. Avenue around 7 a.m. when she heard a knock at the door. As she got up two suspects kicked in the door and pointed a handgun at her. The victim says she recognized the suspects who took her wallet and keys at gunpoint.
Police say the suspects then left the apartment with the victim following. Outside the apartment a third suspect was already sitting in the driver’s seat of her car. The victim said she also recognized the third suspect.
Police say the victim tried to stop the suspect’s from leaving but they continued to threaten her. She called the police giving the names and address of the suspects.
Tulsa Officers arrived at the Contempra Apartments and found the stolen vehicle. Officers then saw the suspects running through the apartment complex and into an apartment. Officers obtained the phone number for the apartment and told the suspects to exit one at a time. The suspect’s complied and officers were able to retrieve the victim’s keys and found a black BB gun.
The suspects are all juveniles and have been booked into Tulsa County Jail as youthful offenders for Armed Robbery and home invasion.
