Five Oklahoma Tribes Receive Grant For COVID-19 Aid

Five Oklahoma tribes will receive more than $8.5 million to aid in COVID-19 recovery.

The money is a grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and will be used for things such as providing rental housing and construction of emergency operations centers.

The funds will be divided among the Chickasaw, Choctaw, Comanche, Kickapoo and Pawnee nations.
