A more than 3.0 magnitude earthquake was reported Wednesday morning in central Oklahoma.

The earthquake, which was measured at a preliminary 3.2, shook parts of Major County just after 5 a.m. Wednesday.

The earthquake's epicenter was located nearly four miles northeast of Ames.
