With high school football playing as planning, marching bands can now prepare for the upcoming season.
The football field at Booker T. Washington High School has been closed as the school waited for a decision from the OSSAA.

“Now that we know what the decision is, every team, every sports, every band no matter where they are, can create a plan to properly prepare as far as instrument safety, creating new rules with everything going on,” alumna Camrey Asberry said. “Now everybody can get together their game plan.”
The band started practicing on Monday and will perform at five home games but will not travel or participate in competitions.
