Pawhuska Man Sentenced For Kidnapping, Killing Man

A Pawhuska man will spend 45 years in federal prison for the 2015 killing of an Osage County oilman.

On Wednesday, the judge agreed to Jeremy Reece’s plea deal from earlier this year. Reece admitted to kidnapping Rick Holt and killing him on tribal land.

Prosecutors said Reece killed Holt because Holt was dating Reece’s ex-wife.

Reece’s brother Tyler and their mother Ann are both awaiting trial for their roles in Holt’s death.
