Activists Rally To Protest Changes Made To Postal Service

A group gathered Wednesday night at the downtown Tulsa post office in support of the United States Postal Service.

They are concerned about recent actions by the Post Master General and want to see the postal service funded and supported.

Jimmy Peterson helped organize the rally and said the USPS should not only be preserved by invested in.

“I want them to go further and preserve our psot office and invest in them because in a world that is a market that’s run by the internet where things are shipped, why not take advantage of that and make money for our country,” Peterson said.

The group plans to demonstrate until midnight.
