Washington County Employee Suspected Of Embezzlement

OSBI said a Washington County employee was arrested on suspicion of embezzlement.

Officials said the Washington County District Attorney had requested OSBI after “learning of possible illegal purchases by 53-year-old Kevin Farley.”

Officials said agents found that Farley made purchases for vehicle parts and lawn equipment with county funds.

Officials stated that “the purchases appeared to be for personal use or were otherwise unjustified.”

Farley turned himself in and has since bonded out.
