Amazing Oklahoman: Deborah Brasher Creates ‘Adopt-A-Teacher’ Program

One amazing Oklahoman is using social media to show encouragement for teachers preparing for this unprecedented school year.

Deborah Brasher started a Facebook group where people can sign up to “adopt” a Ponca City teacher. People who adopt a teacher will spend this school year leaving encouraging notes for their teacher, donating supplies and otherwise helping lift their spirits.
