Final Tune-Up For High School Football Teams Before Season Kickoff

TULSA, Okla. -

Friday night lights return to Tulsa as ten teams suited up for final scrimmages before the fall season kicks off.

Broken Arrow at Bixby

Bixby was in control for most of the game, but Broken Arrow made a strong surge in the fourth quarter. Bixby ultimately pulled out the win 21-7 over the Tigers.

Muskogee v. Jenks

The Jenks Trojans picked up two quick scores on the ground, but Muskogee would add a touchdown. The final score puts Jenks on top 24-6.

Booker T. Washington v. Jenks   

Jenks then faced the Booker T. Washington Hornets, starting 7-0. Jenks wins in the end 14-7.

Putnam City v. Bartlesville

Bartlesville and Putnam City started as an even matchup, tie ball game at 7-7 to begin. Bartlesville had one final chance that was batted down, but the final score 14-9, Putnam City pirates.

McLain v. East Central

A McLain freshman had a huge night, starting the Titans off strongly ahead of the Cardinals. East Central gets on the board, but too late as McLain wins 38-7.

McLain v. Rogers

The Titans then take on Rogers, attacking early in the air, but McLain would come out on top, 20-8 for the final score.
