Veteran Of The Day: Leonard Winans

One local veteran who is making a difference in his community is 96-year-old Leonard Winans.

Winans was stationed in the Philippines and Korea while serving in the Army during World War II. Leonard’s nominator said he is a private person and doesn’t like the spotlight but deserves recognition.
