The Indian Education Program at Tulsa Public Schools is helping students get ready for distance learning.

The program is hosting its annual school supply giveaway for Native American students. Families with students in the Johnson O’Malley program can drive through the Indian Education office near 41st and memorial to pick up school supplies for free.

“In this time right now, virtual learning, distance learning, every little bit helps,” Indian Education Coordinator Shari Williams said. “We are happy that we are able to provide these supplies to our students.”

Families can pick up supplies until 6 p.m. and on Thursday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
