Fire At South Tulsa Apartment Complex Under Investigation

The Tulsa Fire Department is investigating to determine what started a fire at a south Tulsa apartment complex.

Investigators said a fire started at the Welsford Oaks Apartments near 71st and Peoria.

Crews said the fire worked its way from the lower floor to the third but said the breezeways stopped the flames from spreading out too far.

According to fire officials, the east side apartments are a total loss. Tenants affected will be relocated.

No injuries were reported. Investigators have not yet determined the cause of the fire.
