Veteran Salute: Sergeant Major Robert McKim

We're continuing to recognize veterans across Oklahoma who are making a difference in their communities.

Today we honor Robert McKim. Robert is 93-year-old retired Command Sergeant Major and a World War II veteran. Earlier this month he was able to meet President Donald Trump at an event on the ship USS North Carolina commemorating the end of World War II.

A year ago he was honored at Hale High School and the ROTC named a classroom after him. He loves this county and says if they called him today he would go back to defend his country. Robert, we thank you for your service!
