Casa Tequila owners cut the ribbon on a new restaurant in Broken Arrow Tuesday.
They are officially opening their doors for business and helping others at the same time.
Carlos and Ana Aguirre own Casa Tequila and say they support several organizations in Guatemala.
They are asking people in the community to donate shoes that they will send to children in the country who need them.
They say it is important to give back.
Aguirre said, “when we see the children, when they open the boxes with the shoes, or candies or any stuff, they get really, really happy and that something we keep in our hearts.”
They plan to donate the boxes around Christmas time and ask that anyone who would like to help, please bring in donations before November.
