Corporate Embezzler Sentenced To 3 Years In Prison

A Tulsa woman who pleaded guilty to embezzling over three-quarters of a million dollars has been sentenced to almost 3 years in prison.

U-S Attorney Trent Shores' office says in 2014 Leslie Michelle Clark was hired by a Tulsa company as a financial controller.

Clark created a fake company and charged her employer for fake services in 2018.

In addition to her time in prison she will have 5 years of supervised release and will have to pay over 823 thousand dollars in restitution.
