Tuesday, September 22 is national voter registration day and several Tulsa organizations are hosting a drive-up event to get people signed up to vote.
The Tulsa chapter of Jack and Jill of America is teaming up with other groups to host this event and they said it'll be a quick and convenient process.
Anyone who is interested can drive up and one of the workers will bring a few forms to be filled out, then organizers will take those forms to the election board on Tuesday and register the potential voters
It is a contactless process and the workers will be wearing masks and shields.
Organizers say the goal is to give people one less excuse to stay away from the polls.
Sandra Quince from Jack and Jill Tulsa said, "It doesn't matter who you're voting for. It doesn't matter if you're independent, democrat or you're a republican. Our goal is to make sure we register as many people as possible to vote."
The event will run from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday at Morton Health Services near Pine and Lansing.
