Tulsa Public Schools Extends Superintendent Contract

The Tulsa Public Schools Board of Education voted Tuesday night to extend the contract for Superintendent Dr. Deborah Gist until 2024.

Six board members voted to approve the extension and one voted against it. The board just voted on a two-year contract in June, and this vote will make it a three-year contract.

Dr. Gist was evaluated on the relationships she’s built with staff, school values and if she met district objectives for the previous year.
