The Tulsa Housing Authority is once again extending the deadline to apply for the new Emergency Rental Assistance program.
The deadline is now October 31st. Anyone who is behind on rent because to the pandemic can apply, and get money to cover up to three months of back-rent that's with a maximum of $3,000.
“There are still funds available for residents of Tulsa County who need help paying rent due to the impact of COVID-19,” said Jeff Hall, vice president of strategic planning for THA. “We anticipate continued impact due to job loss or reduced hours related to COVID-19 and want to extend the program so that anyone who needs this assistance can secure it. The CDC eviction moratorium will be in place through the end of the year so these funds can help landlords recover some financial losses if they have tenants struggling to pay rent because of the pandemic’s impact.”
To apply, visit tulsahousing.nanmckay.com. A dedicated call center is available at 918-236-0949 (Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.).
