On Tuesday, the Tulsa Public Schools Board of Education will decide whether students will return to in-person classes after starting the year virtually.

In a previous meeting Superintendent, Dr. Deborah Gist recommended a staggered return to class beginning in mid-November.

"We know that when we wear our masks, wash our hands and watch our distance, it's just as good as a vaccine," said Gist.

Tuesday's meeting will begin virtually at 6:30 p.m.
