Police Search For Two Men After Gun Accidentally Fires At Tulsa Apartment Complex

Tulsa Police are investigating a traffic stop that ended with shots fired at an apartment complex near East Apache Street and North Harvard Avenue. According to police, they were going to stop a car for a traffic violation around 1 a.m. on Monday morning, but the car continued moving into the Apache Manor apartment complex before stopping. Police said two men fled from the vehicle and one of the men accidentally fired a gun that he was carrying.

Tulsa Police are investigating a traffic stop that ended with shots fired at an apartment complex near East Apache Street and North Harvard Avenue.

According to police, they were going to stop a car for a traffic violation around 1 a.m. on Monday morning, but the car continued moving into the Apache Manor apartment complex before stopping. Police said two men fled from the vehicle and one of the men accidentally fired a gun that he was carrying.

Officers said that no one was hit and police were unable to find the two men involved. A third person who stayed in the vehicle was questioned by police and released.

According to police a rifle and a handgun were found in the vehicle, however, it is currently unclear who the vehicle and weapons belong to.
