As COVID-19 cases continue to rise across Oklahoma, health authorities predict it could get worse.
In Jenks, a mask requirement started Wednesday, and more area cities are debating mask mandates.
The Jenks City Council spent four hours Tuesday night discussing face masks, in some cases disputing the overwhelming evidence that face masks prevent the spread of disease.

COVID-19 is increasing everywhere, but the State Health Department numbers show that in cities with a mask mandate, cases are up 34% over the last three months and up 109% in cities without a mask mandate.
