Tulsa Mayor G.T. Bynum On Sapulpa's Mask Mandate

The City of Sapulpa's new mask mandate takes effect on Wednesday and Tulsa Mayor G.T. Bynum praised the decision on Facebook.

Bynum said in a post "in hard times we've always come to the aid of our neighbors in need. That's what made the last few weeks so frustrating: our medical professionals who are courageously fighting this virus are telling us what they need, and for a while it felt like Tulsa was standing alone in its willingness to respond. Then Jenks stood up. Now Sapulpa."

The ordinance, put in place by Sapulpa city leaders requires anyone 10 and older to wear a face covering or shield whenever physicals distancing is not possible.
