A local Tulsa artist is turning her love of Christmas ornaments into a special project for a good cause.

Bobbie Whaling has been creating art in Tulsa for the past 35 years and one of her traditions is creating an annual Tulsa Christmas ornament.

The ornament for 2020 depicts the BOK Center in Downtown Tulsa, but Whaling felt that with the COVID-19 pandemic happening this year, she needed to do a little bit more.

Whaling created a second 2020 ornament depicting the Golden Driller wearing a mask and disinfecting the city and at the bottom it says "Stronger Together."

100% of the profits will go to Catholic Charities, Neighbor for Neighbor and the Community Food Bank of Eastern Ok.
