Tulsa Community College will soon be bringing much-needed reinforcements to front line healthcare workers amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
On Wednesday and Thursday, around 175 nursing students will be graduating from TCC.
According to TCC officials, a COVID-19 response provision from the State Board of Nursing will allow the graduates who have been authorized to take the license exam to work as graduate nurses until they can take the exam.
The graduations will take place on Wednesday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and on Thursday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the TCC Metro Campus near East 9th Street East Avenue and South Boston Avenue.
The pinning ceremonies have been moved to a virtual platform.
