Organizers behind a cross display, made to honor every Oklahoman who has died of COVID-19, have found a new spot for the memorial at Forest Park Christian Church located at East 91st Street and South Mingo Road.

The display was moved after organizers say they ran out of room at the original location in midtown Tulsa.

Toby Gregory created the memorial in October. Each time someone in Oklahoma died of COVID-19, a new cross would be built and displayed in his front yard.

In a recent interview, Gregory told News On 6 that the display was taken down because they were running out of room. When he began searching for a new location, he made sure that public accessibility was a priority.

According to memorial organizers, they hope the memorial can stay up for as long as possible.
