A Sapulpa man is in the Rogers County Jail on Tuesday morning after deputies say he tried to meet an underage boy for sex.
The suspect, who has been identified as 36-year-old Nicholas Hale, is now facing multiple charges.
According to authorities, Hale was arrested on Tuesday night after deputies said he went to meet with what he thought was a 14-year-old boy. Instead, Hale was talking to a decoy and was taken into custody after coming into contact with police around 9 p.m. on Monday.
Police said that upon Hale's arrest drugs were found inside of his vehicle.
The suspect has been booked into the county jail on offenses that include lewd proposals to a child, soliciting prostitution and drug possession.
