Tulsa Police Investigating Suspicious Death

Tulsa Police are on the scene of a suspicious death near East skelly drive and Peoria avenue.

Around 8 a.m. Wednesday morning Tulsa police say they responded to the neighborhood where a body was found in a yard. Right now TPD says they don't have many details, but they are investigating the scene as a suspicious death.

Police say they do know the man got into an argument Tuesday night, and they have taken the other person who was involved downtown for more questioning. TPD Lieutenant Brandon Watkins says there are still a lot of details they are piecing together.

"Next step is interviewing people and seeing what all the crime scene turns up we have to wait for the medical examiner and go from there find next of kin we will figure it out," said Watkins.
