Tulsa Health Department Encourages Virtual New Year's Gatherings To Slow COVID-19 Spread

The Tulsa Health Department is encouraging people to spend New Year's Eve at home with those only in your immediate household due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. They THD suggests hosting a virtual get-togethers with family and friends as an alternative to going out for typical New Year's festivities.

The Tulsa Health Department is encouraging people to spend New Year's Eve at home with those only in their immediate household due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

The THD suggests hosting virtual get-togethers with family and friends as an alternative to going out for typical New Year's festivities.

The THD wants to remind Tulsans that larger events with at least 150 people must be cleared by the health department first.

The health department said only two groups have submitted plans for New Year's Eve events so far.
