A Craig County community is preparing to say goodbye to one of their teachers who passed away from COVID-19.
Jennifer Cunningham was an English teacher at Bluejacket Public Schools. The Joplin Globe reported she was diagnosed in mid-December and died three days after Christmas from complications of the disease.
The district will hold a service for Cunningham in the school gym Wednesday afternoon.
