Oklahoma State University said hundreds took part in Monday’s march to celebrate the life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
It’s part of OSU’s week-long celebration. The university said it is committed to inclusion and combating racism.
“How do we honor Dr. King? I think we just treat everyone fairly and with respect,” OSU President Burns Hargis said. “We strive to life barriers that impede the progress of especially underrepresented individuals.”
The university will continue its celebration with more speeches and presentations. Most of the events will stream virtually.
