Grand Lake To Host Stop On 2021 Bassmaster Open Trails

The 2021 Bassmaster Opens Trail will include a three-day stop at Grand Lake in Grove this October.

Officials announced the schedule Thursday and said Grand Lake will host the event from October 21-23, 2021.

The 2020 Opens schedule was delayed by the pandemic and did not finish until the first week of December. Officials said the 2021 Opens will not begin in January, but in March instead.

“Grove is so very excited to be a stop on this year's Bassmaster Open Trail,” said Grove Area Chamber of Commerce President Donnie Crain. “We will be looking forward to having some of the best anglers in the nation competing here in our community and fishing the waters of Grand Lake O' the Cherokees.”
