One in five adults in the United States will develop mental health issues at some point during their lifetime, but that percentage doubles when it comes to the LGBTQ+ community.
This can be anything from depression and anxiety to substance abuse.
Dr. Sarah Johnson from the Al Carlozzi Center for Counseling at OSU Tulsa talked with News On 6 about mental health problems these individuals face and how they can get help.
