Jury trials are scheduled to resume at the Tulsa County Courthouse on Monday. There will be safety measures in place for anyone entering the building.
Nearly 500 people are summoned for jury duty on Monday after trials were delayed at the end of 2020 because of a rise in COVID-19 cases. A court administrator told News On 6, jury trials used to happen for two-to-three weeks each month, but will now be scheduled every week with fewer jurors at a time.

Anyone entering the courthouse can expect to have their temperature taken. Masks are also required and gloves will be available.
The goal is to get people assigned to a courtroom and out of waiting areas in less than an hour. Another group of potential jurors will then go through the same process.
Physical distancing efforts will be noticeable inside courtrooms. Jurors will be spaced out during trials.
No more delays are expected. Officials will continue to monitor the case count of COVID-19.
