NWS: Warm, Windy Conditions Again Causing Fire Danger

The National Weather Service said the conditions for fast-spreading fires are again a concern for Northeastern Oklahoma because of warm and windy weather. Outdoor burning is strongly discouraged on Tuesday.

The National Weather Service said the conditions for fast-spreading fires are again a concern for Northeastern Oklahoma because of warm and windy weather. Outdoor burning is strongly discouraged on Tuesday.

Fire crews were hard at work throughout Green Country on Monday. In Creek County, a fire destroyed a camper and shed before being put out.

The National Weather Service said chances for rain are expected to increase as the week progresses.
